Biographical notes: Son of Robert Wyer and Zilpha Sherman Wyer. Married Priscilla Coleman. He was the “Owner/Agent” of ships “Narraganset”, “Henry Clay” and “Edward Cary”. He resided at 33 Orange Street. Now known as the “Robert Wyer House”. He purchased the house and land from his father Robert for $400.00 in 1814.
