Biographical notes: An eclectic physician who established a practice with a homeopathic physician, Ella Jennings in NYC in 1879 as the “Women’s Provident Dispensary”. Later the two separated their practices, with Pidgin upstairs and Jennings downstairs. A court case was filed in 1880 after Jennings plastered the building with large signs, and then Pidgin did also.
